Airport Parking Reservations, Tucson - Check Availability and Book Your Dates

Serving Tucson and the towns around it: Marana, Oro Valley, Vail, Sahuarita and Green Valley. One airport, one mile of ground beside it, and a desk that works the calendar rather than a map.

Heron Junction is an independent reservations service, and independent is meant strictly: no airline, no hotel chain, no government body, no airport operator and no other brand sponsors this desk, endorses it or has any connection with it whatsoever.

01What this desk actually does

Three things, and it is worth being exact because the fourth thing is what most people assume.

  • We take a run of dates and check what is open on them at the lots we work with on the airport mile.
  • We quote the daily rate that applies to that length of stay, and say what can be added to it.
  • We place the reservation with the operator and pass you their gate hours, their van hours and the number to call on the day.

The fourth thing, which we do not do: own the ground. No lot is ours, no van is ours, no attendant is on our payroll and no policy of ours covers a vehicle. The operator owns the ground and is responsible for the car. What this desk books, and what it refuses, is set out in full on one page.

  1. 1Send the datesTwo fields on this page, or eleven on the reservation form. Free quote, no obligation, and no card field anywhere on this site.
  2. 2We check the runNot one lot, several. What is open for that length of stay, at what daily rate, and in what grade of stall.
  3. 3You get the number that mattersA rate for your dates and the additions that apply, by return message or by telephone inside desk hours. Nothing is held yet.
  4. 4You agree, and it is placedThen the operator's address, gate hours, van hours and day of travel number come back. Change or cancel under the cancellation policy.

02The rate depends on how long the car stands, not on where it stands

This is the part that surprises people who have parked at bigger airports. In Tucson the distance question barely exists: the lots we work with sit on two streets within about half a mile to a mile and a half of the terminal, and a van ride is two to seven minutes each way. Nobody is choosing between a short walk and a long one.

What does change the number is time. Four bands, and a stay that crosses a band boundary is priced in the better band rather than the worse one.

Length of stayDaysWhat the band is forFrom, per day
Under four days1 to 3 daysUsually the band where the airport's own front lots win. Read /airport-lots/ first.$7.00
Four to six days4 to 6 daysThe first band where a reservation off the field starts to be worth the walk.$6.25
A week to two weeks7 to 13 daysPriced by the week rather than by the day at most lots on the airport mile.$5.40
A month and over28 days and upPriced by the month, and the band that needs the most lead time in winter.$4.10

Those are floors as of August 7, 2026, not quotes. The number that applies to your dates is confirmed by telephone or by return message before anything is held, and taxes and any addition belong to the operator. The rates page sets out every addition that can appear.

03Which band you are in decides almost everything

04The honest bit about the airport's own lots

The field's front lots are inexpensive, they sit under canopies and they are a walk from the terminal door. For a two or three day trip they are usually the right answer, and a desk that pretended otherwise would be lying to you inside its first paragraph.

So we say it plainly, on its own page, with no price list of theirs reprinted because those numbers go stale and are not ours to publish. Go and look at what the field charges before you book anything through us.

The airport's own lots, and when this desk is the wrong call.

05What the month does to a standing car

The second variable. A car left on open ground here in July is having a different week from the same car in February, and the calendar page goes through it month by month: what heat does to a vehicle nobody moves, which weeks the winter visitor season tightens local supply, and where lead time actually matters.

The calendar, month by month.

06What we do not claim

One flag on this desk is true and eight are false, and every one of the eight carries a written reason rather than a silence. This is published rather than buried because a claim without a block behind it is the fastest way to have an advertisement refused, and because you should be able to check us.

ClaimSet toWhy
free_quotetrueThe rate request form is free and carries no obligation, and it is on the first screen and on the booking page.
24_7falseThere is nobody here at three in the morning. The hours are printed on every page and the weekend is closed.
same_dayfalseA same day request depends on an operator answering, and no operator on the airport mile has promised us that.
licensed_insuredfalseThis desk holds no license and no insurance covering a vehicle. No number is printed because there is none, and the operator is the party responsible for the car.
no_hidden_feesfalseThe figures here are floors. Taxes and additions belong to the operator, so the promise would be theirs to keep and not ours.
no_prepaymentfalsePayment happens with the operator, and we do not set their terms. What we can say instead is checkable: no card is entered here.
flexible_cancellationfalseThe windows are the operator's, and they are printed rather than described as flexible.
written_confirmationfalseWhat comes back from us is an answer to a request. The confirmation of a held stall comes from the operator.
nationwidefalseOne airport and one mile of ground beside it. The service areas page names the towns it covers and names what is outside.

RReservation request

Eleven fields, and none of them is a card. Sending this is a request rather than a booking: what comes back is a rate and a stall, and nothing is held until you agree to it.

Free, no obligation.

Pressing send accepts the terms of use. Where the eleven fields go afterwards is set out in the privacy policy. Changing or cancelling later is covered by the cancellation policy.
