Held, kept, passed on
Privacy Policy, and the One Item This Site Puts in Your Browser
Three questions answered in order: what reaches us, what goes on to an operator, and what sits in your browser. The list is short because a reservations desk needs very little and this one collects nothing beyond it.
01The company answerable for it
Heron Junction Parking LLC, an Arizona limited liability company at 1661 North Swan Road, Tucson, AZ 85712. Written requests go to records@heronjunction.com. The telephone is +1 (520) 886-3174 during desk hours, and post reaches the same address.
Arizona statute and federal law govern this. Where your own state grants something wider, the section on your rights below covers it.
02First question: what reaches us
Two forms exist on this site and neither is long.
| Form | Fields | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-check on the front page and elsewhere | Two dates, a vehicle description, one address for the answer | So a rate can be worked out and sent back |
| Reservation form on /booking/ | Name, email, telephone, two dates, a drop off time, vehicle, plate state, flight number, grade preference, notes | So a stall can be placed with an operator |
Both travel by an outside relay to one mailbox. This site has no database, so nothing is stored here at all: what you typed exists as a message in an inbox and nowhere else. It is deleted after two years.
Sending either form subscribes you to nothing. There is no list to join, no newsletter, and no second message a week later. One answer comes back and then the exchange is over unless you continue it.
03Second question: what goes on to an operator
When you accept a rate, the reservation is handed to whoever runs that lot. They get what running it requires: the dates, the times, the vehicle and plate state, a name and a telephone number for the day.
They do not get the rest. Not your notes, not your email if you would rather withhold it, and no trace of any earlier request. Write in the notes field that the operator should have a first name and a number only, and that is exactly what they receive.
Their copy is then theirs. Their own handling governs it and this desk has no reach into it.
04Third question: storage in your browser {#storage}
No cookie is set by this site. Not one, of any kind, for any purpose. What exists instead is a single local storage item, printed here by name.
| Item | Contains | Written when | Cleared when |
|---|---|---|---|
| hj_optional_off | One word, recording which button was pressed on the notice | Either button is pressed | You clear site data for this domain |
| There is no second item |
That item never travels. It is not transmitted to this site, not transmitted anywhere else, and unreadable by anybody here: only the page in your own browser can see it.
Both buttons write one item. They differ in the word recorded, and the refusing button is there so that refusal is an act rather than a theory. Since this site places nothing optional, both roads end in the same place, and describing that plainly beats offering a choice with no consequence.
Block local storage entirely and nothing breaks. The notice returns on every visit because there is nowhere left to note that it was answered.
05The list of what is absent
Written out because absence is the part worth checking.
- Measurement of any kind. No visit counting, no session replay, no scroll or click recording.
- Advertising machinery of any kind. No pixel, no tag, no conversion record, no audience list.
- Any profile, score, segment or inference about a visitor.
- Card details. Anywhere. At any point. There is no field for them.
- Social widgets, comment threads, accounts and sign in.
- Third party code of any description on any page.
06Children
Nothing here is aimed at children or built to attract them. Age is never requested and never guessed. If a child has sent a form, write to records@heronjunction.com and the message goes.
07Your rights and the route to them
Five things are yours to demand: an account of what is held, a copy of it, a correction to it, its destruction, and the withdrawal of a request that has not yet reached an operator. Write to records@heronjunction.com, or post to the address above.
Thirty days is the outer limit on a reply and the same week is normal, because the file is a handful of messages. There is no charge, no account to create, and nothing to prove beyond which message is yours.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah and Virginia, and of every other state carrying a consumer privacy statute, hold whatever that statute grants, and the route above is how to use it. Nothing here is sold and nothing is targeted, so an opt out has no subject matter and a browser privacy signal finds nothing to disable.
08How it is protected
An encrypted connection serves the site. The mailbox carries two factor sign in. No database exists, no account exists and no payment data has ever been on this system, which removes the great majority of what normally goes wrong. Perfection is not claimed and would not be true.
09Advertising, conditionally
Nothing of that kind runs today. Should it ever, this page and the storage section are rewritten to name what is placed, by whom, and how to refuse it, before placement rather than afterwards.
10Revisions
A material revision earns a dated line at the bottom of this page, and the browser notice returns once so a returning visitor can see there is something new. Quiet editing is not how anything here is done.
