One number, and a person picks it up during the hours below. Nobody holds you and nobody hands you on, which is a limit on how many calls fit into a day and also why an answer is worth having.

02Hours, and the Arizona detail
The desk is worked Monday to Friday between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm. Arizona keeps Mountain Standard Time the whole year and never moves its clocks, so that window is the same in July as in January while the rest of the country shifts twice. Saturday and Sunday nobody is here, and anything sent then is answered on Monday.
That last part is worth a sentence of its own, because it catches people out. Arizona does not observe daylight saving. Most of the state, including Tucson, stays on Mountain Standard Time all year while the rest of the country moves its clocks twice.
Two practical consequences:
- For roughly half the year Tucson keeps the same clock as the Pacific coast, and for the other half the same clock as Denver. If you are calling from elsewhere, check which half you are in rather than assuming an offset.
- A pick up time written on a reservation means the same thing in July as in January. Nothing here shifts by an hour, ever.
03The telephone

Two things to expect. A busy signal means genuinely occupied, since one person holds the line and there is no second desk behind it. And nothing can be done here about the field's own parking: those lots are not ours to place and we hold no access to anything on them.

05What this desk cannot do
- Take money. This site has nowhere to enter a card, and nobody here rings up asking for a card number.
- Do anything to a parked vehicle. See the refusals.
- Book parking at the airport's own lots, or anywhere in Phoenix.
- Reach an operator on your behalf on the day of travel. You get their number when the reservation is placed, because on the day they know where their attendant is and we do not.
06If a reservation was not honoured
Say so. Telephone during hours or write to stalls@heronjunction.com with the dates and what happened. If a reservation this desk placed was not honoured we deal with it rather than pointing at the operator, and that is the one thing a desk in the middle is genuinely for.
