About This Desk, What the Name Means, and Who Answers the Telephone

01What the name means, in road terms

There is no locality called Heron Junction. Nobody should go looking for one, and this paragraph exists so that nobody does.

The name is coined, and it means what a junction means on a road: the point where one route meets another. The junction this desk works is the plain one, where the roads that people drive in on meet the mile of ground beside the airport. That is the whole of it. There is no village, no station, no park and no landmark by that name anywhere, and the site never suggests otherwise.

We also use no animal anywhere. Not in the mark, not in the icon and not in any photograph. The mark on every page is two painted lane lines meeting at a right angle with one stall marked out at the corner, drawn in code, and that is deliberate.

02What the desk does

We take a run of dates, check what is open on them at the lots we work with on the airport mile, quote the daily rate for that length of stay, and place the reservation with the operator.

We do not own ground. No lot is ours, no van is ours, no attendant is on our payroll, and no policy of ours covers a vehicle. The operator owns the ground and is responsible for the car. What this desk books and what it refuses is one page, and the five refusals are on it in the same type size as the offer.

03Who runs it

Delia Ocampo runs the desk and takes most of what rings on it. Before this she spent nine years doing scheduling for a commercial fleet in east Tucson, which is where the useful part of the knowledge comes from: not travel, but what happens to vehicles that sit still in this climate for weeks at a time.

No staff, no call center. A busy signal here means one person is already on the telephone, not that a queue is holding you.

04Why the site is arranged around the calendar

Because at this airport it is the honest way round. The field's own front lots are inexpensive, they sit under canopy and they are a walk from the terminal door, so the distance argument that a desk in a bigger city can make simply does not exist here. The lots we work with sit within about a mile and a half and the van ride is a few minutes.

What is left is time: how many days the car stands, and which month those days fall in. The only thing this desk actually controls is the run of dates, so that is what the whole site is arranged around. How long you are gone is the spine, and the calendar is the second variable.

It also means we tell you, on a page of its own, when the airport's own lots are the better answer. For a trip under four days they usually are.

05How the desk is paid

By the operator. When a reservation we place is honoured, the operator pays this desk a commission on it. That is the whole of the revenue: no fee is charged to you, no card is taken here, and the rate you are quoted is the operator's rate rather than the operator's rate plus a margin of ours.

If that ever changes it will be written on this page before it changes rather than after.

06Registered details

The state entity number stays off this page on purpose. Arizona hands them out in order, which means printing one dates the paperwork and says nothing worth knowing about the business. The filing office holds it, and that is where anybody who needs it should be asking.

⚠️ This site is new even though the company is not. The domain was registered in July 2026, and no page here claims the site has existed since the company was formed.

07The office

Two rooms on an upper floor of a three story multi tenant office building at Swan and Pima, built in 1988. It is an ordinary building full of ordinary small businesses, and its own name is not printed anywhere on this site because a building's name belongs to whoever owns it.

The address in the footer of every page is that office. Post reaches it, and the telephone is answered from it during the hours beside it.

08What we will not do

• Publish reviews, ratings or testimonials. We have none that would survive a question, so there is no such block at all rather than an empty one.
• Claim a license or insurance. Neither exists here, and no number is printed because there is none.
• Claim anything about the safety of a vehicle. Whatever watching or lighting exists at a lot is the operator's arrangement, described by them.
• Do anything to a parked car. Nothing washed, charged, started, covered or adjusted.
• Take money. This site has nowhere to enter a card.

The desk is worked Monday to Friday between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm. Arizona keeps Mountain Standard Time the whole year and never moves its clocks, so that window is the same in July as in January while the rest of the country shifts twice. Saturday and Sunday nobody is here, and anything sent then is answered on Monday.
