Eight Questions, Answered the Way the Desk Answers Them by Telephone

These are the eight that actually arrive, in the order they arrive. The first is about money and the last is about reaching a person, which tells you roughly what people care about.

01The eight

Do I need a card, and does this site take a payment?

No card, and no payment. There is no card field on any page of this site, no basket and no checkout. Money changes hands with the operator of the lot, and the quote says how that particular operator takes it before you agree to anything.

Nobody here rings up to have a card number recited down the line, and nothing leaving this desk contains a payment link. Anything of that shape originated somewhere else.

Is it cheaper than parking at the airport itself?

For a short trip, usually not, and we would rather say so on the first page than have you find out. The field's own front lots are inexpensive, they sit under canopy and they are a walk from the terminal door.

Where a reservation off the field does win is length: seven days and up, and especially a month and up, where operators on the airport mile price by the week and by the month rather than by the day. The comparison is on its own page, and it includes the three cases where this desk is the wrong call.

How long before I travel should I ask?

Outside the winter months, a day or two is plenty for any length of stay. Between January and March a week of notice is sensible for a week, and three weeks for a month, because that is when local supply actually tightens.

That is a pattern rather than a scarcity clock. Nothing on this site tells you how many stalls are left, because we do not know and neither does anybody who claims to. The calendar names the weeks that matter.

What happens if my flight moves and I come back later?

Tell us and the dates move. A change costs less than a cancellation in both trouble and money, and notice decides how much less: early enough and the same operator usually just carries the new dates.

If you come back later without telling anybody, the operator prices the extra days on their overrun terms, which are named in the quote. Those terms are theirs rather than ours, which is why the cancellation policy prints windows instead of promising flexibility.

Who is responsible for my car while it stands?

The operator of the lot, and this is not a technicality. They own the ground, they run the gate and the van, and their arrangements cover what happens on it. This desk holds no license and no insurance covering a vehicle, and prints no number because there is none.

Your own insurance is the other half of the answer. Nothing on this site should be read as cover, and nothing here promises anything about the safety of a vehicle. Whatever lighting, fencing or watching a lot has is the operator's arrangement, described by them, and the quote passes on what they say rather than turning it into a promise of ours.

Will anything be done to the car while it is parked?

No, and this is a refusal rather than an oversight. Nothing is washed, no battery is charged, no jump start is arranged, no oil is changed, no pressure is adjusted, no cover is fitted and nothing inside is moved.

It gets asked here more than anywhere else, because a car standing in this climate for three weeks genuinely does want attention afterwards. We do not sell that, we do not arrange it and we do not pass the request on. A parked car is parked. All five refusals are on one page.

Do you book parking in Phoenix?

No. Different airport, two hours up the interstate, and no lots there that we work with. We will not quote it and we have no relationship with anything there.

What we will tell you is the arithmetic nobody volunteers: two hours each way is four hours of your trip. Sometimes the fare difference is worth it and sometimes it is not, and that is your decision. The service areas page names everything inside and outside the zone.

Can I speak to a person, and when?

Yes. Telephone +1 (520) 886-3174 and speak to a specialist during desk hours. The desk is worked Monday to Friday between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm. Arizona keeps Mountain Standard Time the whole year and never moves its clocks, so that window is the same in July as in January while the rest of the country shifts twice. Saturday and Sunday nobody is here, and anything sent then is answered on Monday.

Arizona keeps Mountain Standard Time all year and never moves its clocks, so those hours mean the same thing in July as in January while the rest of the country shifts twice. If you are calling from elsewhere, check which half of the year you are in rather than assuming an offset.

02If your question is not here

Telephone +1 (520) 886-3174 and speak to a specialist during desk hours, or send the dates through the reservation form and put the question in the last field. Questions about records held, and requests to destroy them, go to records@heronjunction.com instead.
